Vanesha Cadet (Associate)

Vanesha Cadet is an Associate at Oxfeld Cohen April & Wenocur, PC, having joined the firm in July 2024. She represents public sector unions across a wide range of professions, including education and public works. Her practice encompasses all aspects of union representation, including unfair practice charges, employee disciplinary matters, and workplace investigations.

Ms. Cadet also maintains a broad litigation practice, representing clients in court proceedings, administrative matters, departmental hearings, and appellate cases. She advocates on behalf of unions and employees in labor disputes, providing strategic counsel and effective representation at every stage of the process.

In the education sector, Ms. Cadet works with nearly every category of school employee, including teachers, paraprofessionals, custodians, security personnel, and other educational support professionals.

Ms. Cadet earned her Bachelor of Arts in English from Montclair State University and her Juris Doctor from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University. She is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association.
